As the founding member of the most influential band of all time (The Beatles), John Lennon was a pure innovator of music and a spirited & staunch leader of world peace. His life was tragically cut short at the age of 40 when he was gunned down while returning home from a recording session in New York City. Howard Cosell broke the news live to the world on Monday Night Football:

Despite this unbelievable tragedy, Lennon's masterpiece "Imagine" and "Give Peace a Chance" are universally hailed as songs of hope and peace around the world. His legacy and message continue to inspire new generations across the globe.
